Render Paint
Alumasc based in Finnieston are the original supplier of the external white paint for the properties built latterly, that is the Davies Acre side of the estate. Although they are primarily a trade only company they are prepared to supply paint direct. The code you need to use is MRS6 - 22-B-15. The paint comes in 10 litre pots at a cost of £32.50 per pot (correct as of May 2011). If you are applying direct to the render with no existing paint you will require a binder which is approximately £15 for a 5 litre pot.

Roofing Copes
The coping stones on the roof are made with fibreglass and are difficult to source. FGF was established in 1989 in Paisley and are a manufacturing specialist of a wide variety of products including fibreglass mouldings. They have provided copes for a number of residents and have been reliable.

Roof Tiles
Many residents have experienced problems in sourcing suitable roofing tiles particularly after the bad weather. We have two suppliers who can provide you with tiles that are of a higher quality and look the same as the existing tiles.
Capvond Plastics
Capvond Plastics have prepared a mould of a roof tile suitable for homes on the estate. The tile is made from 70% recycled polyester resin and inert fillers with glass reinforcements for added strength. Residents can call them directly to order their own tiles. There will be a minimum order and the cost at 20/4/12 was quoted at £3 per tile. there would be a 3 week turnaround time for the tiles.

Door Handles
The suppliers for the Carlisle Brass Internal Door Handles are JRC and are based in East Kilbride. Located in College Milton North they are in the factory units at the bottom of the hill. Turn left at the roundabout and then first right the units are facing you as you drive pass the 2 large office blocks on your left.
